Ryan White is the clinical director of Olymia Physiotherapy based in Markyate. He qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2007 from the University of Hertfordshire. Since graduating Ryan has worked extensively across both the NHS and private sector. Ryan has a special interest in Musculoskeletal sporting injuries and gained experience working as a sports physio with elite athletes while working in the academy at Portsmouth FC.
Ryan has previously worked in the NHS as a Paediatric team lead, working with children from the age of 5. More recently Ryan worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP), with his role including referring patient’s for diagnostic scans including MRI, X-ray and Ultrasound. Through this role he has developed close working relationships with local GP surgeries and specialist orthopaedic consultants, including those at the Spire Harpenden Hospital, OSD in Hemel Hempstead and One Hatfield. Through his working connections, he is able to provide the best and most efficient outcome for all his patient’s. He has worked with various runners and athletes of all abilities, from international level netball players, professional athletes who have competed in the commonwealth and Para-Olympic games, as well as recreational patients with acute injuries or chronic presentations.
