Welcome to Olymia Physiotherapy, based in Markyate. We provide expert musculoskeletal knowledge, diagnosis and treatment. We are passionate about improving your health and returning you to fitness from your initial assessment through to recovery.
Our specialty lies in musculoskeletal diagnosis and physiotherapeutic management of a diverse range of health conditions and sports injury.
We see patient’s from 5 years old to adult’s of all ages. Every individual is unique, and we believe that too. We aim to provide the highest level of care to every patient, including a bespoke exercise and treatment program specific to your presentation. By combining hands on physiotherapy techniques, combined with individualised exercise and rehabilitation programs, we achieve great, long term results for your health and fitness.
Rehabilitation and recovery is a key part of our work and we pride ourselves on the highest standards of treatment. Our facilities allow us to provide traditional hands on manual therapy techniques, while our fully equipped gym space and swimming pool may be utilised during your treatment session.

All of our exercises can be accompanied with a video explanation, improving your understanding and compliance with your rehabilitation program. During screening, your clinician will perform a comprehensive evaluation of strength using an app based software to provide you with a baseline score. Following your session, an individual training program will be provided for you to work on. Sports screening includes:
● Flexibility testing of key muscle groups associated to your sport
● Strength assessments and muscle imbalance testing
● Balance and proprioception testing
● Explosive power, speed and agility testing
● Postural and alignment assessment
